Alright, now that you've read up on How To Plan a Bachelorette Party, you are ready to get the ball rolling on planning your BFF's last fling before the ring! The only thing is, you need some ideas.... Well say no more! Today, we are bringing you tons of bachelorette party ideas all based around the type of person the bride is and what she likes! As we've said before, this weekend is all about the Bride, and doing something she would love! So tailor it to her! Bachelorette parties don't all have to be cookie-cutter Vegas black outs. (However, we are very down for that, so don't throw that out of the mix just yet.) But the more that the weekend is tailored to things the Bride loves, the more special it will feel! Feeling loved is so deeply tied to feeling known, so show her that you know her and give her the best weekend by thinking about what she loves. It doesn't have to be the most expensive weekend! But it should feel like her. So whether she's an ocean loving bride, a wine enthusiast, or a country line-dancing gal, we've got some ideas she just might love...
FOR THE AESTHETICALLY DRIVEN BRIDE
This gal probably loves brunch. She's got the best instagram feed in your girl gang. She is allllll about those killer and inspiring aesthetics. For this bride, there is only one place perfect enough for her instagrammable bachelorette goals. That place is: Palm Springs.
DO: Lay by the pool and day drink the way Palm Springs-ians do. Parker has an adult version of a lemonade stand right by their pool--need we say more?! Hit Birba for a gorgeous outdoor Italian dinner with fresh cocktails and out of this world pizza. Head back to the Parker for drinks (seriously their bars are amazing and how convenient is that!) or go out to the Amigo Room at the Ace Hotel. Brunch the next morning at Norma's inside the Parker is a must.
FOR THE OCEAN LOVING BRIDE
This girl lives for the beach. You've probably heard her say "I feel the most at home when I'm by the sea" 5,000 times. So take her to the ocean for her bachelorette! And for that, there's no better place to go than Huntington Beach -- aka Surf City USA. It's the perfect laid back beach town for a girls weekend!
STAY: The Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel -- its the perfect location for hitting the beach (it's literally facing the ocean!). But trust us, it's so gorgeous in there you might not even want to leave the hotel...
DO: Check in to your hotel and then just kick it at the beach the whole day! Get tan, play in the water. Then get cleaned up and go to dinner at the hotel. (Seriously, we're telling you you're not going to want to leave this place!) But the highlight of the night? Take her to The Bungalow for what will feel like the dopest beach house party for adults.
FOR THE COUNTRY BRIDE
Country music. Boots and cutoffs. This girl is laid back and alllll country. Whether she grew up in the country and became a SoCal transplant, or grew up out here but always had a love for the simpler country life, she's always had a heart for it. So you definitely need to go all out country for this lady's bachelorette and make sure there is country music playing everywhere she goes. The old-timey Malibu canyons, and its throwback era of the cowboy's wild west, is the perfect spot for an upscale country extravaganza.
STAY: Rent an Air BnB like this one with good views in the Malibu canyon or in the "country" (aka something that feels away from city lights and pretty laid back) so this girl can live her country dreams!
DO: During the day, go to The Malibu Cafe where you can day drink, play over-sized lawn games like bocce ball and jenga, and enjoy country music blasting all throughout their outdoor space. At night, go to Borderline Bar & Grill for line-dancing, beer pong, pool, and all the country music. The next morning, hit up one of the area's oldest standing establishments, The Old Place, for brunch and get a real country fix. But get there early because this place is small and the wait can be a while!
FOR THE PARTY BRIDE
This girl is the life of the party. Let's face it, she's probably a Leo. Literally, it's like the party doesn't start 'til she walks in (it's true, Ke$ha's song was actually written about her.) So there's really only one place to take this bride where she can have the ultimate party of her life, one that she may not remember, but she'll never forget... yep, you guessed it: Vegas baby. And from SoCal, this getaway is so easy! Whether its a cheap 45 min flight, or a girl’s road trip, Vegas will be with it for this gal.
STAY: The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas -- it's such a central location, feels so glam (which is perfect for a bachelorette weekend!), and has some of the best restaurants in all of Vegas at their hotel!
DO: Hit a beach club during the day, like Encore or the Marquee Dayclub (inside the Cosmo!) or chill at the hotel pool for a little more laid-back of a vibe, then refresh in the evening and hit up Beauty & Essex for dinner, which is also inside the Cosmo (so easy!). Then go to the club--it's the whole reason you're in Vegas! You've got plenty to choose from whether it's Hakkasan, XS, or Tao! Don't forget to hit an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet the next morning to recover. (Cosmo's is real good.)
FOR THE LA LOVING BRIDE
Ok. This Bride just loves LA and has said for weeks she just wants a dope LA girls weekend for her bachelorette. Clueless is probably her favorite movie, and she dreams about driving a convertible down PCH often. She probably also talks about how perfect the weather in SoCal is and how no other big city can compare to what LA offers... also she loves palm trees and celeb encounters. Well, we've got the perfect, classic LA style staycation or getaway planned!
STAY: The Beverly Hills Hotel--there's only 1 hotel as nostalgic and LA feeling as the Beverly Hills Hotel. It's not cheap, but the pink + green decor are iconic and every major celebrity has walked those grounds. Plus, its girly vibes are perfect for a bachelorette, and, let's face it, if you stayed here with your man, he just probably wouldn't appreciate it as much as your girls.
DO: Start off the day like all LA natives, and go for a hike! You can't beat the one at the heart of LA: Runyon Canyon. (It's short and not crazy strenuous, plus the views are amazing). Go out for a killer dinner at Catch LA. With it's rooftop views and gourmet dishes, that dinner will make you feel like you are running with the LA celeb crowd. End the night at a rooftop scene like The Highlight Room. The next morning, definitely hit a good brunch, like The Ivy restaurant, or even the hotel's iconic Polo Lounge is a not-to-be-missed. Also, don't forget to lounge by the pool.
FOR THE WINE LOVING BRIDE
This girl is classy, and her idea of a 10 / 10 friday night is hitting her local wine bar with her soon-to-be hubs in the dim lighting and trying some new wines with a charcuterie plate for hours. Whenever you buy wine, you always have to text her first about what is good. For your wine loving BFF, you have to take her to the vineyards for a perfect wine-soaked bachelorette! And there's no better weekend wine getaway then Napa! Especially for the cheap, short flights from SoCal! (Although, if you're trying to stay closer--try Santa Barbara, Temecula, or Paso Robles areas!)
STAY: The Napa Valley Lodge. Its beautiful mediterranean inspired grounds will feel so refreshing, while being surrounded by vineyards--the perfect Napa experience! (Although, if you're looking to spend over $1,000 a night, then Auberge Soliel is real good too).
DO: Wine tasting. 24/7. Uber everywhere and hit all the best wineries like: Beaulieu, Alpha Omega, Domaine Chandon, Silverado, just to name a few. Lay out by the pool at the hotel. Eat brunch one morning at Boon Fly Cafe, and a farm-to-table dinner is a must while in Napa, and we recommend Long Meadow Ranch.
