Yeah. We love Christmas around here. It's no surprise. The holidays are kinnnnnnd of our thing. I mean any excuse to decorate will do, but the holidays are just the best and the biggest! No one can shame you for going full out on your decor. It is the holidays after all. And sometimes we like to put a little spin on the traditional. This year, we put together a little diy holiday inspired wall hanging that we know you are going to love. Take a peek...
This is the perfect modern take on a wreath and is so easy to make! Like, 10 minutes easy!
What you'll need:
- Bundle of greens and eucalyptus. (We got ours from Trader Joe's.)
- Needle nose pliers
- Floral wire
- Yarn (or you could use twine)
- Driftwood or a branch or a wooden dowel
Step 1: Make your bundle of greens layering in the different types.
Step 2: Wrap your bundle in wire to secure it together. Don't worry about what it looks like because it will be covered. Make the wire tight and secure! Needle nose pliers are great for this.
Step 3: Secure your bundle to your piece of wood. We did two pieces, one at the bottom of the wire and one at the top to make it nice and secure. Tighten the wire with your pliers.
Step 4: Take a small piece of wire and secure a couple of the tops of the greenery to the wood. This helps make it balanced when you go to hang it.
Step 5: Tie one piece of yarn on each end of the wood in your desired hanging length.
Step 6: Hang it up and enjoy some hot coco and cookies!!
`We loved putting this together! And we have a feeling you will too. If you love the holidays as much as we do, grab your girlfriends and some bottles of wine, and host a girl's night: DIY holiday decoration edition. We guarantee it will be a good time.
